Celebrating 100 years with an immersive experience
John Crane, a global leader in rotating equipment solutions celebrated its milestone of 100 years in business at Slough Industrial Estate in the UK. To recognise the occasion, they hosted a number of events for employees, both past and present, business partners and customers.
As the main element for this for 100th-anniversary celebration, DML was entrusted with creating an immersive “History Walk” to convey the story of John Crane. This 72m graphic display area seamlessly integrated multimedia, physical artifacts, and interactive elements to visually weave together the compelling narrative of John Crane’s 100 year history. Throughout the creative development process, our team meticulously delved into an extensive archive of historical materials, including photographs, awards, patents, and branded memorabilia. From this curated selection, we artfully crafted a visual experience that not only engaged the audience but also brought the company’s evolution to life through the physical objects on display.
Our comprehensive approach, leveraging both physical and digital materials, ensured a lasting impression on visitors. Our service transformed the milestone celebration into a creative and memorable showcase, solidifying John Crane’s legacy in the industry.
“Just a line to say thank you to you and your team for all the hard work that went in to creating such a fantastic History Walk, the feedback we have had from our directors; Smiths; Special guests and particularly our employees & retirees has been that they think it’s amazing.”
